Is there any difference between the Virtual DJ and the Numark CUE?

This question gets asked every day LOL
Company line: same as each other, VDJ sold online, Cue sold in a box.
Users line: VDJ is better as updates are quicker and controllers are supported quicker.
That's about it unless anyone else has anything to add!

I think VirtualDJ supports more "native" controllers than than Numark Cue does, but the actually program is the same.

Cue supports all the same controllers.

This is true , it takes longer because numark check updates a lot longer to remove any issues which appear so they can be removed.
VDJ may have more smaller updates as the issues in the earlier releases are identified and resolved.
At the end of the day they are the same great product delivered through different channels.

OK! One problem I have experienced with programs downloaded is after a computer crash, I couldn't get the program back! Having a "hard CD-ROM" makes it easy to reload the program. Maybe burning the downloaded .exe file onto a CD-R would be the same?

That is what I do, well sort of. I download the setup file, and save it in a special folder on a USB memory stick. That way if my laptop goes for a shit I can install VirtualDJ of the stick, I've been doing this since VirtualDJ 5rev6.
