I have the same one. Love it except for one flaw. It comes with a trial version of sony live one care. Its a program similar to norton, and the reason I dont like it is because it will pop up while Im running vdj and while it doesn't interrupt the audio signal it does minimize the video feed. Other than that, its a great computer.
 
Thnxxxx crossfade....but did you try just to uninstall the live care.I intend to do a new clean instalation to avoid all the glitches.

There is a way of stopping that service. Are you using XP or Vista.
 
Great that its working for you but generally Sony laptops are the worst brand to use with any usb device.

They are riddled with IRQ conflicts which cause controllers and sound cards not to work.
 
My personal retailer told me that TOSHIBA like first and ASUS like second are the best brands for notebooks
 
alot of brands are good as long as you don't have nonsense in it like a web cam, thumb or finger print reader.. media card reader or things that are not necessary to use as a dj laptop... I only care about having enough usb ports, amount of ram and a good processor.... The less things the better... I never had any issue with my computer because i only use it for Computer dj ying. Your IRQ problems are from all the extras your laptop has...
