I have an RMX controller but I need more buttons to control effects better. Is there a MIDI controller that I can use to controller sound effects and videos effects and Sampler. I just do want to be clicking around the software with the mouse. I've used the keyboard and assigned short cuts but when i comes to adjusting the flanger for example it's not that easy.
Will something like this work with VDJ and an RMX controller together?

or

Thanks for looking,
Eric

A popular one is the trigger finger: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/TriggerFinger.html

prolly could have just bought the xponent instead of the rmx. . . :>
im not exactly sure but i believe the xponent has about thirty percent more buttons to program for effects, etc. ?

This is nice but how would a touch sensitive pads be really beneficial with virtual dj ,when you usually just turn things on and off.
Is there a plug in that we can assign drum sounds?

No, but you can use them as normal pads instead of velocity sensitive I would imagine, so you could use them to trigger functions, or control the clipbank etc...

I use my trigger finger to jump to cue points. I assign the cue points to the pads and I'll tap on the pad instead of the keyboard. You can set it to continue play from the cue point on or to release when you take your finger off.

I use:
Numark Total Control
M-Audio Trigger Finger
M-Audio X-session Pro
and
A single Pioneer CDJ-800mk2
Together I can do everything I want or need to do with the music and the lighting.
