Use a C-type USB cable to connect the DDJ-FLX2 to a USB port of your computer

1 PLAY
Play-pause loaded track
Play-stutter loaded track
2 CUE
Set a temporary Cue point at current position when track is paused or preview while pressed if Cue point is assigned. Return to this Cue point when track is playing
Jump to the beginning of the track
3 Pads
Operation depends on selected Pads mode.

4 BEAT SYNC
Syncs deck with the opposite one (matches BPM and phase) or with the Master -Deck (if more than 2 decks). .
Enables the Pad Select mode.
When enabled, select one of the 4 top Pads to select one of the available Pad modes (Hotcues, , Pads FX, Loop
and Sampler
The currently selected mode will blink. After the selection, the Pads will return to the functionality defined by the selected mode.
5 PITCH
Adjust the tempo/pitch of the deck.

6 JOG
Touch-sensitive jogwheel for scratching (when Vinyl mode is enabled) or pitch-bending (when Vinyl mode is disabled).
Vinyl mode can be enabled/disabled from VirtualDJ GUI
Fast-searching through loaded track
7 EQUALIZER
3-Band Equalizer. Adjust the Low, Mid and High frequencies of the Left/Right deck. Can be assigned to Stems EQ Mode

8 CFX
Apply the selected Color FX (by default a High/Low Pass Filter) to the Left/Right deck. When in middle position, no Color FX is applied.

9 Master CUE/PFL
When enabled, sends audio signal from the Master Output to Headphones channel
Enable/disable the selected Mix Effect (Echo by default)
When enabled, the Mix Effect will apply when moving the crossfader from one edge to the other. See Mix Effect Selection
10 DECK CUE/PFL 1-2
Sends left/right deck's audio (pre-fader) signal to the Headphones channel as defined in Audio setup, for pre-listening
Select the previous/next available Color FX
11 VOLUME
Adjust the Output volume of the Left/Right Deck.
Additional function: Start deck when fader is moving from the zero position to a higher one and stop the deck when fader reaches zero/minimum position.

This Fader Start/Stop functionality can be disabled from Controller Settings
12 SMART FADER
Enable/disable the Smart Crossfader mode.
When enabled, Decks are synchronized while using the Crossfader and the Tempo moves toward the Tempo of the Deck that is being faded into.

Led will be solid if this mode is enabled and will blink if Mix Effect (SHIFT+Bt.9 is also activated.

13 CROSSFADER
Blends audio between the Left and Right decks
Additional function to audio blending: Start deck when reach its side, and stop if reaches the other side.

This Fader Start/Stop functionality can be disabled from Controller Settings
14 Master OUT
Connect your amplified Speakers to this socket using 1/4" jack. Adjust the volume of this output using the small knob next to the socket.

14 PHONES OUT
Connect your Headphones to this socket using 1/4" jack for pre-listening. Adjust the volume of this output using the small knob next to the socket.

PAD FX - Pads PAGE


This Pads page will be available only when the DDJ-FLX2 is connected and offers the following functionality
Pads 1 to 4 will apply the Echo FX of a different Beat length.
Pad 5 to 7 will apply the Cut FX of a different Beats length.
Pad 8 will apply the Flanger FX

Hold SHIFT down and then press a Pad button to apply different Effects.
Pads 1 to 3 will apply the Loop Roll FX of a different Beat length.
Pad 4 will apply the Reverb Effect.
Pad 5 to 8 will apply the Beat-Grid FX of a different pattern.
