I sad to report that my machine still shows the memory leak and still has the same freeze, with the exception that the freeze undos itself, plays a few seconds and than stutters and freezes again.

so, a zero on the memory leak,
1/2 point on the freeze thing.

Its all mute, cause I just dumped $850 on hardware and built a desktop for my shows that has absolutely no video freeze running Win 7 64bit on a quad core processor, 4gigs of ram and a DDR 5 Nvidea graphics card. This desktop has performed with VDJ like a dream and is actually fun again. I highly recommend going desktop!

I did notice that the files seem to load a lot faster, so that's the one thing with 6.05 on my new home brew system is that there was still slow loading files on one deck, so I'm looking forward to this version solving that.

My big problem with 6.0.5 was that it would just stop about 2 -3 hours into a gig. I reverted back to 6.0.1 and the problem so far has not accured. Do the memory leaks you refer to in http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJv6.0.7.html address this problem? I am afraid to update until I am at least aware of that issue being addressed. The problem I am having with 6.0.1 is that automix seems to burp or pause briefly from video to audio, which makes it unusable.
 
Anybody notice the new tick box in Config/Video for Decode in Multithread? :-)
 
hi!, in VDJ i got only the NS7 mapp, i need the midi mapp for the decks of the mix deck!HELP!

Great !! but now I wonder if the clipbank plugin will still work since i just went from 6.5 back to 6.4...maybe someone can try it first?

I also had this problem before 6.0.5. I have talked to a german mod in the german forum (da solltest du vielleicht auch schauen ;-).

Please try to remove all customs mapper files from NS7 (move it out of the mappers directory to an other) and use the default mapper of the new vdj 6.0.7.

Please give me feedback

I could try VDJ 6.0.7 with my NS7 this week.

its been fixed. You have to reload the slots again though.
 
Has any other of you tested vdj 6.0.7 with the NS7?

But my issue of leftover sound snippet is still there. <sigh>

I'll hafta see on my end how it behaves w/ video & kroke tracks.
 
I have a lot of problem's.
I work with dn-hs5500 Audio 8
if you go to layer 1 one of 2 the decks stop playing.
Sound is like a hold record with a wrong middle hole.
With the new update is it not possible to play with my denon hs-5500.
Now I'm using virtual dj 6.02 normally I use 6.05 but I forgot to save dis version.
Is it possible to downgrade to 6.05

Thank you vdj for the update. I use the mapper with the numark mixdeck and it works pretty well. I seem to enjoy the numark mixdeck w/time code and vdj 5.06 better. Platters touch sensitive jog wheels feel better. My gig laptops are still running 5.06/w windows xp. Havent gotten use to 6.05 or the new 6.07. Time code and mixdeck w/maya 44 sound card seem very stable for me. For smaller gigs I have two hercules mk2's. I always carry at least one hercules mk2 to every gig for back up. It just stays in the bag with the back up laptop.
 
Yes can i get a link so i can get 6.05 6.07 is not working well for me

I found out that if I uninstalled vdj before I installed the 6.07 it would work great. I had just upgraded from 6.05 at first and had problems. So I think if you did a clean install, it might solve some issues that you may have. It worked for me.
 
Thanks for letting me know about the updated version. I will play with it tonight. Thanks again whoever posted it....
 
Something is definately broken in this version concerning the NS7 the pitch is all wobbly just playing a track you can hear the wow and flutter like an old turntable.
