That unit its the same as the Italian DJTECH ReLOOP (I think its called) is'nt it? someone here had reviewed it before. I've seen the Orange one on you-tube. its basic but reminds me of my Hercules.its what this manufactorers do,get the units made by others and stick their name on it.and as for the sound card (optional) they probably are talking of the same thing you allready have (Huey) with Numark's Virtual Vinyl.

Ok, I think I missed something here.........does this have a built-in soundcard and can the crossfader be mapped out to work with video?? I understand this is a starter unit but I have never messed with ANY controllers ever and I think this would be nice until I get the American Audio unit.

Thanks for your time
Huey

Ok nevermind about the sound I just reread the thread but still would like to know about the crossfader......

You could use the crossfader for Video, by default it will control both the video and audio crossfaders however a minor tweak to the mapping and it can control the video fader.

Ha,ha I knew you show up,wat up Sky? ...but am I right about the sound card? it would be better if it came with one built in.American Audio's unit will...

@Sky, thanks will be putting in my order this weekend.

18 x 1 x 10 ?? seems too small for me from what I have seen on youtube NAMM Videos.
I think these are inch?

Whoops yes Inches sorry I used an imperial tape measure not a metric one.

No prob, thanks for it!
When it arrives in Europe - IT'S MINE ;-)

are the effects mapped out correctly (ie.. able to use knob to select among various installed effects. I got one as soon as It hit the US. I already have A hercules dj control mp3 e2 it came with A limited edition of vdj and although I love vdj the mp3 e2 left a lot to be desired hence the purchase of the Nummark MixTrack. right size and yet so very portable.but until I get to demo using it. I can't justify the cost of going pro.IMHO tr**tor works well with it but i don't like layout among other things

i have vdj 5.2 and have gotten so use to it and really like it and familier with it is there anyway this can be used with nthis mixer??? i dont wana use what comes with it nor buy the newer vdj

Touch sensitive jogs? and this is selling for $149 from Ebay Sellers? nice!

Not just from ebay sellers, you can find it $149 retail, pretty much anywhere you go. I just got mine today, and as long as you have the updated version of VDJ, it maps just fine. I've been playing around with it all afternoon :)

One question though... How can I input the serial number so the icon appears by my name? The only number I can find that looks like it should be a serial is (21)N31004191100270, but it doesn't work when I try to plug that in.

Ordering my mixtrack soon. Very much looking to it. Everyones reviews and feedback are awesome.

Next best entry level controller? I think so!

This is only possible if the controller came with VirtualDJ LE included.

If came with other DJ software, then it is not possible to register it or have an icon.
