Awesome djnutz! Just awesome! Your mix sounds great.

Thanks man.

If I were you, I'd invest in the software first. You could then get used to how everything works. Then add the second CDJ when you get enough.

That's a good idea!

I don't know if you are still paying attention to this forum djnutz, But if you are, in the picture you posted, What are those things above your CD players. I posted a URL below that has those "things" circled in red.

Thanks

If that is a sound card please tell me what type it is? If it's not, then I feel real stupid! Hahaha

Those are AKAI MIDI controllers and most likely they are used to control effects on VDJ :)

Thanks Phantom

Been busy. HA! Tis the season....

Yes, those are Akai LPD8's. In my opinion they are built a little better than the Korg Nano series of controllers. They also allow reprogramming the MIDI notes. In other words, each controller has 4 programs. Each program has 8 buttons and 8 knobs. A little math and that is 32 mappable buttons and 32 mappable knobs. Deck one is MIDI 0-3 and Deck 2 is MIDI 4-7, giving me a total (hold on to yer hats) 64 mappable buttons and knobs.

I am working on mapping that feels just right. I have looping controls, effect triggers, cue point controls, deck load, and some other stuff in the works.

I have the same setup with 2 Numark NDX400's and a Numark M101 Mixer. I have both NDX400's hooked up to the "in" of the soundcard and the mixer is hooked up to the outs with both channels going to line and not phono. I have virtual dj pro and the time coded cd's. Why is my computer not synced up and why can I not hear anything? Any help is greatly needed!!!!
