No problems on a PC (Intel - Win 8.1) using DDJ SX.

You can use the DDJ SX without any restrictions with VDJ.

I'm using a Windows 7 x64 system.
I also own both the MC6000 and the SX.

You should not have ANY issues with the SX.

Most of the complaints for the SX are from users that don't realize how the unit works:

E.G.:
It's a controller! This means that the gain knobs for instance behave differently than a standard hardware mixer. If you used EXT MIX with your MC6000 (in order to have 4 decks) then you should be familiar with what I'm saying. If you used INT MIX and therefore you had DENON working as a hardware mixer then the gain knobs work different.
On the SX you must move them to come in "sync" with the software position before they start to control the actual gain.

Other than that the only "unresolved" (but mostly fixed) issue is that the sound may crackle if you try to scratch with BOTH jogs at the same time.

Awesome thanks for the response guys - I think the DDJ-SX is going to be my new piece of hardware making the MC6000 my backup. I'll come back here if i run into any problems!

"I agree.... a lot of the same issues here"
I want to say: me too !!!!

If one already uses a controller say a Vestax Typhoon, how would one be able to switch and use the pioneer? Would I have to reinstall VDJ? I use a PC running on windows. My Vestax Typhoon cannot function without the Vestax USB hub it was provided with in the bundle and when the wire is even moved, it freezes the entire program and stops the music. I even changed the wire itself, I'm beginning to think it's the hub/controller. And it only works in one of the specific ports as well on the ASUS HP 2000

You should be able to unplug the Vestax and plugin in the Pioneer.

Install the drivers, set up your audio config and your away.

You do not have to re-install VDJ. Some computers require you to use the same usb port, that you installed the drivers with. When you say hub, do you actually mean the usb port, on the controller?
