There's definitely something up.
Here I just tried loading a track from Deezer and it shows a cover in the default skin, but if I switch to GTS-2K25 there's no cover shown.

Ok, I found the issue. It will get fixed in the next update (within a day or so)
For the record, the issue derived from a combo of settings.
Technically streaming songs from on-line sources do not have a cover.
However if someone has the downloadCover option enabled (I didn't) then VirtualDJ will find, download and display a cover for the song.
So, a fix is coming!
