I see about 30 all ending .svp
I have just installed VDJ on my home pc and all the visualisations and slideshows work absolutely fine!!! weird.....so why not on my laptop????
It must be graphics card or as you all said 512mb memory!!! surely the spec on my laptop would run sonique. I have a 64mb graphics card aswell.
Maybe not!!?!?!?

OK, lets start at the beginning... You downloaded the plug in to v4.3 in the video affects folder. Then you extracted folder ( same video affects folder )... I believe v5 does this already. when you look in folder through VDJ you can see about 12-15 plug-ins. You picked one and ok'd it to play. Your video config should have video activated either with ( your card or windows ). You should have video acceleration checked.
Now when you activate video, your small screen pop up - just move it the upper left corner to get it out of the way.
hit sonique activate - play a song to watch the pretty colors move.
If nothing happends then your card and not enough memory may not have enough get up and go for this plug-in... Sonique is a memory hog. I had 1g or ram and it still would drain my computer. I checked out your video card and you really should have a card for middle / high gaming. Your card was designed for notebooks to play dvd's.

I have done everything that you all suggested and still nothing. I am just about defeated. Maybe you're right and my graphics card/memory just isn't up to it! I have it working a treat on my home pc. The strange thing is though I can't even get the slideshow to work to flick through my picture folder either!!!!!!! That's bizarre as i wouldn't have thought this would cause memory and gpu issues?!?!?! Even music videos play ok and scratching and messing about they still play fine! Oh well.
This is what it says in my display properties;
Display
1.[Multiple Monitors] on Nvidia GeForce4 440 Go 64M
2. Default Monitor on Nvidia GeForce4 440 Go 64M
Highest Colour Quality (32bit)
I'm giving up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks everyone for all your input i really do appreciate your time.

I'm back on it!!
I have downloaded the sonique player from their website and have got their visualizations working really well and in full screen. So why is it I can't get them to work in VDJ.
Another weird thing is that I VDJ allows me to load a 10min music video onto the deck and play it with ease while showing the video in the small window. If i have a insufficient system why would these things work and not sonique OR the slideshow which i assume isn't that demanding????? The other odd thing is I can see the filename path changing as if it was slideshow but no pictures?!?!!??
If anyone can point out what i am doing wrong i will buy them a big beer!!!
Thanks again

Just thought I'd throw a note up hear as I just messed around with Sonique and got it to work. I was having alot of frustration..well maybe 15 minutes worth...but here's where my problem was. Ready....the transparency slider was moved all the way to the right :O. That was it. Not sure I saw that mentioned in all the above posts. By the way thanks to the people that helped me in this post and the clipbank posts as well.

As much as this was one of the obvious things to check for some.... People always get upset when we ask for a step by step procedure so none of the details will be missed... This was a minor detail missed.
Glad you got it working!

Hi all,
I just started using Sonique and ClipBank on my Vista PC. It's very cool. Anyone have any tips on how to use them on my Macbook?
Thanks
Paul
