WHERE IS THE LOYALTY NU-MARK? (A MARK is an object of ridicule)

http://www.numark.com/content49005

I think it’s time for Atomix to the Numark partnership and pick a “real” partner. I guess there’s no loyalty among companies either, especially when BIG MONEY is involved. I would like to see a partnership with American Audio since Denon seems devoted to PCDJ.

So I guess this should put an end the questions about VDJ being bought out by Numark once and for all should it??

That's right,

that's what it all boils down to is Money at the end of the day Double O.

If you think about it, this new Numark and Serato “strategic partnership” indicates that Numark does not have confidence in the abilities of Atomix to “usher in a new era of DJ software and hardware from both companies.” Conequently, it’s time for Atomix to show the world that it can “usher in a new era of DJ software” with another company that is willing and able to produce innovative hardware. Denon would be the best choice for producing the hardware. Unfortunately, Denon made a very poor choice by selecting PCDJ as a partner. I’m not criticizing PCDJ, but Denon has released two controllers while PCDJ is still struggling to release software—Reflex—that should have hit the market almost a year ago.

The reason I American Audio is my second choice is because it offers quality and affordable DJ audio and lighting equipment. Although the Velocity has been out for a while, it would still make a very nice controller:

Regardless of what direction Atomix decides to take, it should not be with Nu-Mark!

lol... its not about that at ALL, but about Numark wanting to sell to a large market.. totally understandable...

Numark Total Control came with VDJ/CUE and Traktor.
And the new ones comes with VDJ/CUE and Serato.

And its of course, from the view point of a company wanting to sell as much controllers as possible, totally understandable.

Although, sure, we would want to be exclusive.. but the commercial world dont work like that ;)

It aint fairyland..hehe

And Money talks, as the song goes.

So it comes down to what business is all about—Money.... Numark feels that it can make more money with Serato, which indicates its lack of confidence in Atomix (no matter how you look at it).

you have a twisted view on realities ;) No such thing as lack of comfidence

It comes down to Numark wanting to sell to a larger audience, no matter how you look at it ;)

they are releasing Atomix products extensivly, and mostly... and its CUE their main products is ;)

Nothing changed... Last year it was Traktor ..

hehe

Not quite sure where your going Double O

The ONLY controller that's compatible with serato is the new one - NS7? And that one Is VDJ /CUE compatible?

What's the difference with adding a serato option reather than the old traktor option?

VDJ/VirtualVinyl/CUE is still going to be the best solution with this controller, even though it supports Serato.
The fact that more than one software is supported isn't a bad thing. It might even help in turning Serato users to VDJ/VV/CUE.

Exactly ;)

It’s self explanatory, “Numark's new alliance with Serato will usher in a new era of DJ software and hardware from both companies.” Where do you see Atomix mentioned or even CUE. Sure other programs will be comaptiable, but the message here is that Serato can produce “a new era of DJ software.” What? Atomix can’t?? Nevertheless, I doubt many Serato users will switch to scratch an ITCH anyway….

Lol... dont be paranoid ;)

Why would Numark go out with a press release saying its working with Cue?
thats OLD news... hehe

Press releases are bout new things, and Serato even having midi controllers is a new era.. for them and controller companies..

I guess it depends on how you perceive the partnership "buy"—opps—I mean "by" Nu-Mark and Sell-Rato.

American Audio.........Seriously?

And you think this is better?

Seriously??

As I stated before, Denon would be the way to go but it's devoted to PCDJ.

Sorry K-one, was about to quote you, and accidently posted in YOUR message :(

can you post your message again?

Sorry about that

I see the understand the points of view. However, it might have an opposite affect and cause many VDJ/CUE users to switch to ITCH. Let's be real about this, SSL users are not going to switch to another Serato DJ program. Therefore, the target market are the VDJ, CUE, Deckadance....etc users.

@ dj-in-norway

You should modify the website so that a post cannot be deleted after someone responds. It can only be modified. I had to modify my previous post so that it would make sense. The other option would have been to delete it.
