Just arranged for one deck to be returned.
Upon receipt of the goods One of the ICDX boxes had already been opened.
I investigated the contents and all seemed fine, everything sealed and as new. So didnt think too much of it.
However i soon realised that the unit which came in the opened box vibrated quite a bit with some noise when CDs were used, where as the other unit was almost completely silent with no noticeable vibration.
Now i've read reviews that state these units do vibrate a little, but i couldn't help but think that i was receiving a unit that someone has had returned due to vibrations - hence the open box.
The unit worked fine, but it bugged me that i had paid for 2 new units and seemingly had received one reject, it also bugged me that if one unit could run with out vibration why couldnt the other?
Anyway, Numark have agreed to exchange for a new unit..... just hope it doesn't vibrate !
Do your units vibrate?

My iCDXs are in a coffin (See my blog) if they vibrate I do not notice it. The area around the mixer and unit is covered with diamond plate so I hea very little of what is going on around/under the players.

Hi Tearemup
Thanks for the info, i think if either of yours were like my 'defective?' unit you would still notice, it vibrates to the degree that you can feel it upon touch of the platter or casing, not washing machine style, but enough to be noticeable.
Anyhow, im confident the replacement will be fine. (Well pretty confident)
Still, i'm impressed with the ICDXs and look foward to getting to know them better.
My girlfriend however was not impressed with my purchase and wants me to justify how i can't afford an engagement ring, but can afford decks.
My argument was that these units will give me greater flexibilty & control in my DJ work, look more professional and ultimately will help lead to more work which will therefor result in a better engagement ring.... not sure she's convinced !
