Visuals

Visuals provide the ability to display AI video Loops and audio-reactive patterns on the Master video output that move with the music in real time. Visual content can be downloaded from a user-created library or created within VirtualDJ.

USING VISUALS

Go to the Video Source menu and select the drop down arrow.

Select the icon to the right of the Visuals plugin.

With the Visuals main menu open, select the visual that is to be displayed on the video output or select Get More... to download new visuals or create your own.


Options at the bottom of the menu can be checked/unchecked to provide additional functionality:

Auto-Change - Visuals that have been installed will rotate automatically.

BeatMove - Visuals will react to the beat of the Master deck.

Postion - Provides the ability to resize and position the visual on the Master video output.

Once a visual is selected, click on the Visuals toggle in the Video Source Menu to activate it on the Master video output.

DOWNLOADING VISUALS

From the Visuals main menu click the Get More... button.

The Add New Visuals menu will appear. Select from one of the tabs at the top depending on what type of visual you want to download. Videos for AIVideo Loops *, or Patterns for Audio-reactive abstract patterns.

Use the search bar to find something specific, or scroll through the gallery to see what is already available.

Hover over a thumbnail to select for download. Visuals already installed will display that they are already available in your library.

Click on the selected Visual to be downloaded. A download progress indicator will appear.

The Visual will be automatically installed and appear at the bottom of the Visuals menu once downloaded.

CREATING VISUALS

Open the Add New Visuals menu, select Videos or Patterns and click on the Create your own button.

Type into the text box with a description of what you would like the Visual to look like with as much detail as possible. The more descriptive the text is, the more complicated the Visual will be.

Click generate when you are happy with the description.

The process will go 3 phases: Thinking, Generating (which will display a thumbnail of your creation), and Downloading.

Once downloading is complete, it will be installed automatically. The new Visual will be named and displayed at the bottom of the Visuals menu.

Once selected from the Visuals main menu, the new creation will be displayed on the Master video output.
